Have you installed fingerprint driver from " Credential and Fingerprint Manager for HP ProtectTools " ?

- HP Protect Tools
- BIOS Configuration
- Embedded Security
- Device Access Manager
- Credential Manager
...You may want to register your FingerPrint login before you can see this entry changes to registered.
Here are the steps for you to set up your FingerPrint login:
1. Go to control panel and set up your own user account with password.
2. Reboot the system and log in your own account as you created.
3. Launch "HP ProtectTools Security manager".
4. Open "Credential Manager" and Log in your own account as well if it is in Log off state.
5. Select "My identity" ->"Register Fingerprints" and "Enroll your fingerprints" window will come.
6. Sweep your finger as indicated four times. If each sweeping is not accepted, repeat it again till it is accepted.
7. Select the second finger you want to register and sweep it as same as you doing your first finger till completed.
8. Click "finish" and go to "Credential Manager" main window.
9. Open "Authentication and Credentials" and check in the option you want, such as "Fingerprint or password".
10. Now the Fingerprints registration is finish.
11. To verify if it is done correctly, restart your system and try log in with your finger which you registered.
