Thanks SandroK - I have been reading another site that says one computer could be causing the problem.  Not sure if this means all the "remote downlevel document" in the print queue are cause by one computer or if I would only see "remote downlevel document" for just that computer.  I set up each user with a login to the print server so I can see each user is getting this message in the print queue - it seems hard to say that one computer would cause all users to see "remote downlevel document" in the print queue for all their jobs.  I will try all of your suggestions.  Thanks for sending a such a quick response.  I thought you all would be sleeping and it would be some time before I would get a message - it's almost 1 p.m. here in Columbia, SC (United States).  Thanks again, Jan
