Cheat Method
To purchase cars at a cheap price ($10 each), open up the cars.ini file in your CARS folder (from the main NFSHP2 game folder) using Notepad. Change the following lines:
price=10
nfsprice=10
The edit trick can be done to change the price of the tracks as well. Just open tracks.ini in the TRACKS folder and edit all lines starting with 'm_price'.
Example: m_price[0]=10
NOTE: Always make a backup before overwriting game files

Для активации кодов игру необходимо запускать с параметрами, например:
С:\Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2\NfsHS.exe +[parameter],
где [parameter] может быть:
ghost - ваша машина невидима для полицейских
opentree - открывает все соревнования сразу
nofrustration - отключает постоянные подтверждения действий в меню игры
nomovie - отключает демонстрационное видео
nomusic - отключает музыку
nosnd - отключает звуковые спецэффекты
noreverb - отключает реверберацию
nofrontend - отключает меню игры
nomipmap - отключает мипмэппинг
noparticles - отключает анимацию частиц
minfront - выводит очень простое главное меню
helicoptersOnly - полицейские используют против вас только вертолеты
Работоспособность не проверял, на повторение тоже
