G-Simon, My icon overlays and/or Dropbox right-click menu won't appear!

There are a few reasons why icon overlays won't appear on your files. The most common cause of this is that Dropbox isn't running! Icon overlays won't show up on your files unless Dropbox is running. Check your menu bar/system tray to make sure Dropbox is actually running. If it is, you will see a small Dropbox logo. Another possibility is that you're not actually looking at the right folder. To make sure you're looking at the right folder, click on the menu bar/system tray icon and click 'Open Dropbox Folder.' If neither of these is the case, you can restore Dropbox integration with your operating system by re-installing. We recommend trying the latest forum build as it may have bug fixes on both Mac OS X and Windows. There are also other reasons why the overlays might not work on custom configurations of Dropbox. On Windows: ◦Setting your Dropbox to the root of a partition on Windows can cause shell integration problems. ◦If you've installed Dropbox on a non-admin account and didn't enter your admin password when installing, overlays won't appear. Reinstalling with the admin password will solve this.
