Отключить лишние службы (можно сделать это с помощью домена, либо если его нет то reg-файла (пример ниже), который можно написать самостоятельно поняв какие службы не нужны), увеличить размер своп-файла до 2x оперативки, дефрагментировать жесткий диск, посмотреть и отключить автозапуск ненужных приложений.
В рег файле названия служб думаю будут понятны
