Забыл пароль к MySQL
 

Забыл пароль к MySQL. Как можно его востановить?

vadimiron, не получается у меня так как там написано. Пишет:"C:\Program" не является внутренней или внешней
командой, исполняемой программой или пакетным файлом.

Решил переустановить, но после последнего штриха(нажатия на кнопку Execute) появилась ошибка:
The security setings could not be applied to the database because the connection has failed with the following error:
Error Nr. 2013
Lost connection to MySQL server during query

If a personal firewall is running on your machine, pleace make sure you have opened TCP port 3306 for connections. Otherwise no client application can connect to the server. After you have oppened the port please press [Retry] to apply the security settings.
If you are reinstaling after you just unistalled the MySQL server please note that the data directory was not removed avtomaticly. Therefore the old password from your last installation is still needed to connect to the server. In this case please select skip now and re-rub Configuration Wizard fron the start menu.

вот ключевые слова- это значит что после деинсталляции остается папка data - ее надо вручную удалить- там хранится старый пароль.
если ее не удалить- то опять будет сверяться пароль со старым..
