EPAM Systems (www.epam.com) is looking for IT Support Engineer to work for one of major investment bank - Barclay's Capital (www.barcap.com).
Relocation from other locations is possible.

Main Function
• Provide generalist customer / desktop support for all users, including those located in satellite sites if required.
• Perform project management duties relating to IT system upgrades or enhancements, initiated either locally or as part of a global project team.
• Ensure that the team adopts standard Barclays Capital processes and proactively engage in activities to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Firm’s information assets and to assist IT to deliver secure solutions to the business.

Skills & Experience
Mandatory Requirements
• Excellent level of Ukrainian and English (should be able to speak with colleagues on IT related questions, read and write IT documentation etc)
• IT Applications support troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of ITIL
• Familiar with change and problem management toolsets and control processes. E.g. HP Service Centre.
• Experience in customer support, prior support experience of either Front or Back office applications.
• Proven ability to manage small / medium size projects
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Ability to professionally deal with conflict situations
• Self-motivated
• Ability to be part of a virtual team, working with and reporting into colleagues physically based in other EME offices.

Preferred requirements
• Good Infrastructure knowledge: Windows Servers, Network (Cisco), desktops and laptops
• Third language (e.g. German, Russian, Czech)
• Problem Management skills (investigation, diagnosis and escalation).
• Having, or demonstrating an ability to build, relationships with local IT vendors
